Drawing on Heddwch ar Waith's (Peace in Action) mapping of the militarisation of Wales and wider research, I identified sites in South and West Wales where arms, (or components of arms), used in current conflicts are manufactured and/or tested. I walked around these sites, as far as was logistically possible, to make images. Where photographing is prohibited by UK law, the images are of the land/area surrounding the site. There is a strange normalcy to these sites, often located in close proximity to homes and 'countryside'. I have deliberately not named the sites to encourage people to examine the images rather than jump to what they know about a particular place.
