Tamsin Stirling

I'm based in Cardiff and am interested in how humans interact with their environment, how land and buildings are used, who has access to space in different geographies and how different communities are portrayed through images. I use walking as an integral part of my investigations and photographic practice. I have been making images in my own community of Splott, across Cardiff, and beyond, exploring by foot, rediscovering the everyday familiar and identifying issues of social and environmental injustice.
